FCBallKnowledge is a free football trivia platform built for fans who live and breathe the beautiful game. Daily challenges, real-time multiplayer, global leaderboards, and a growing question bank — all free, all football.
Game Modes
Quiz Mode
Classic- Answer 10 football questions in a row — choose from Easy, Medium, Hard, or Mix difficulty.
- Each correct answer earns points. Wrong answers cost you a life. Run out of lives and the round ends early.
- A speed bonus rewards quick answers — the faster you answer, the more points you score.
- Build a streak of correct answers inside the quiz to multiply your score even further.
- Finish a round to see your result screen with a full question-by-question breakdown.
Daily Lineup — Guess the Team
Daily- Every day at midnight UTC a new mystery team lineup drops.
- You see 11 player positions on a pitch. Each dot shows the player's shirt number — no names, no flags.
- Type or pick the team name from the search box. Every wrong guess costs a life and removes that team from the options.
- Use the Superpower button to reveal the multiple-choice options (costs −10 pts but makes it much easier).
- Answer faster for a speed bonus on top of the base 12 pts. You have 60 seconds.
Daily Player — Guess the Player
Daily- A mystery footballer is hidden behind up to 6 progressive clues: nationality, current club, position, age, market value, and more.
- Guess with clue 1 only and score the maximum points (up to 15). Each new clue revealed reduces the points available.
- Every wrong guess automatically unlocks the next clue — so the game rewards bold early guesses.
- You have a 60-second timer. Time out and a life is lost. The clue sequence is the same for all players globally each day.
- The more clues you need, the lower your score — challenge yourself to get it in one!
Transfer Trail
Daily + Multiplayer- A mystery player's career is presented as a sequence of transfer moves: year, from club, to club, and fee.
- Initially only the first transfer is revealed. Each wrong guess unlocks the next one.
- You have 3 mistakes before the game ends — use them wisely.
- The fewer transfers you need to see, the higher your score (up to 5 pts for the first guess).
- A hint about the player's nationality or era is shown above the transfer list to help you get started.
Guess the Lineup
Daily + Multiplayer- A full 11-player team is displayed on a pitch. Each player is represented by a numbered dot — just their shirt number.
- Type any player's name in the search bar and pick from autocomplete suggestions drawn from our full player database.
- Guess correctly and the dot turns green with the player's name. You can guess in any order.
- You have 3 mistakes total across the whole lineup — mistakes count across all players, not per player.
- Your score is based on how many players you correctly identify before running out of mistakes.
Hot Take
Daily- One bold football opinion is presented every day — agree or disagree?
- Vote once per day and instantly see the live percentage split across all players.
- No right or wrong answer — just pure footballing debate. See if you're in the majority or minority.
- Hot Takes refresh daily alongside the other daily challenges.
Higher or Lower
Always on- Two footballers appear side by side. Your job: guess which one has the higher current market value.
- Keep your streak going for as long as possible — each correct guess advances to the next pair.
- Market values come from real transfer market data and update regularly.
- One wrong answer ends your run. Can you beat your personal best?
Friendly Match — Multiplayer
1v1 Real-time- Create a room and share the 6-character code with a friend. They join, you both ready up, and the match begins.
- A match consists of 4 rounds played back-to-back: Quiz, Guess the Team, Transfer Trail, and Guess the Lineup.
- Each player takes turns — while one plays, the other watches a live spectator view showing their progress in real time.
- Before the match starts, each player picks which lineup, transfer puzzle, and lineup to send to their opponent — or chooses random.
- The host can configure points per mini-game. After all 4 rounds the player with the most total points wins.
- Invite friends directly from the lobby using the friends list, or share the room code via any messaging app.
Leaderboard & Ranking
Global- All quiz scores and daily challenge points accumulate into your global total score.
- The leaderboard shows the top 50 players worldwide, ranked by total score.
- Your personal rank is shown at the top of the leaderboard screen — even if you're outside the top 50.
- Play daily to earn streak coins, climb the rankings, and compete with friends.
Lives & Coins
Meta- You start with 3 lives. Wrong answers and timeouts cost a life.
- Lives regenerate automatically — one life every 30 minutes up to the maximum of 3.
- Earn 50 coins every day you complete your first daily challenge. Your streak increases too.
- Spend coins to instantly buy back a heart if you run out — so you never have to stop playing.

Content Quality
All quiz questions, daily lineups, player puzzles, and transfer trails are curated by football fans. If you spot an error or want to suggest content, use the in-app 'Report Bug / Feedback' button — we read every single report.
